Design Ethos

“To produce architecture that satisfies our client’s requirements, that is sound of purpose, functional in form, satisfying and delightful for the end user and broader public.”

Oztal Architects was established in 1981.

We have over 34 years experience in both Canberra and Sydney.

Our wide-ranging experience has been gained from the completion of a large number of residential, commercial, interior and special purpose projects and also, from the provision of planning, design, documentation and contract administration services.

We specialise in small- to large-scale residential and mixed-use developments and have completed over 1000 projects. As a result, we have created more than 25,000 dwellings.

A large number of these projects involved urban infill, redevelopment and affordable housing.

Our strength in commercial projects include experience in commercial office buildings, mixed use developments, retail and trade buildings and commercial fit-outs

The practice has also completed a number of specialised projects including medical diagnostic clinics, child care facilities and community and cultural facilities

We service a variety of clients from small- to large-scale developers, corporate, government and semi-government authorities and agencies.

Our developments are creative, market-effective, commercially viable and environmentally sustainable.
